Meals for Moffett-Week April 20, 2020

I put the year in this one, because my friends I am struggling. I am struggling with the extra snacking and adult beverages throughout the week. I met with my FASTer Way coach and head trainer yesterday. We discussed my carb cycle and made some changes.

Taking time to observe your life, your vices, habits, and interactions with the people around you will help you become aware of what may not be healthy for you.

I listened in on a live Instagram with Alli and Jo this morning. This stuck in my head and it is just what I needed to start this Monday off strong. “Vices hang out with hurt.”

They talked about not liking this saying, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” The point is this, who wants to go through something difficult and come out with a limp, baggage, extra weight gain, or broken relationships. Take time to observe your life.

This difficult “new normal”, should not be controlling how much alcohol I drink, the hunt for the sugar in the house, or those crunchy chips. Knowing where my weaknesses are, and understanding my emotions will not be controlled by food, will help me stay on track with my FASTer Way To Fat Loss program.

I will come out stronger. I know what my controllables are. I know my joy and faith in God is my stronghold.

Take a moment this week to observe your habits, your vices, your self talk and interactions with others. What can you do this week to help you come out stronger or control your stress?

Monday- Steak and Spinach Salad – FASTer Way recipe, but here is on I use.

Tuesday- Cobb Salad, adding in Shrimp.

Wednesday – Rolled Cabbage

Thursday- White Chicken Chili. Crockpot meal. This one’s a new one for me. I have several pinned. That’s one thing I am getting better at doing; making meals I pin.

Friday- One pan Chicken and asparagus, with baked sweet potatoes.

Saturday- Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

Sunday- Take time to meal plan, eat left overs and slow down to enjoy life around you.
