This week it’s starting out rainy and we are supposed to be peaking with the CORVID 19 in our area. So, this week we are having what I have at home, no running to the store. One thing last week, I did not get to cook one of our meals. Cooking daily and when everyone does not eat gives us plenty of leftovers. Saving money and time.
Monday- Venison grilled burgers (Kenny’s grilling hamburgers made of venison) and mashed cauliflower with canned green beans. For the mashed cauliflower I clean the head of cauliflower and cut off florets. Peel 2 potatoes wash and dice. Boil both till tender. Drain and mix it up like mashed potatoes. (adding in salt, pepper, butter and milk to get your creamy “fake” potatoes. )
Tuesday – This is FASTer Way Meal that I am changing to smoked salmon. We do not eat packaged “fresh”raw salmon. We only eat fish we catch. This is why I am changing it to the smoked. I will cook asparagus in the oven and microwave some steamer bags of broccoli.
Wednesday– Stuffed peppers simple easy and everyone loves.
Thursday– Lasagna. I will let you know if it’s a keeper. I am using ground venison. We will not be following the FASTer Way this meal. When you start the FASTer Way you omit dairy. I have omitted dairy, including cheese. Some meals, you have to have cheese. So, I will give myself grace today.
Friday- Bourbon chicken and stir fried rice and vegetables
Saturday– Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans. Treat day is today!! I will save this for Easter cake or my peanut butter Reese’s. I will be making Easter sugar cookies and adding the recipe soon, as well as the Easter cake.
Sunday– Ham, broccoli and rice. Easter bunny white coconut cake per Kenny’s request.
