Who does not like a southern pecan pie?? This is my favorite. I am going to be critical of this FASTer Way To Fat Loss recipe. I do love dates, so we will see.

1/2 cup pitted dates divided
1/3 cup cashews soaked for 1 hour and drain
1/4 c unsweetened coconut flakes
3 Tbs water
1/2 cup pecans
Preheat over 350
Create the crust by combining half the dates and all of the cashews and coconut flakes together in a food processor. Process until thick and will mixed
Line a square baking dish with parchment paper.
Press crust mixture into dish evenly.
Take remaining dates and finely chop into pieces.
Place chopped dates in a sauce pan with the water. Over medium heat stir continuously until thick and gooey. Remove from heat
Stir in the pecans.Dump onto crust in baking dish and spread evenly onto crust.
Bake in over for 20 minutes
Let cool completely before lifting out of dish.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
