Too Many Plans

Coming back from my FASTer Way To Fat Loss conference in early December, left my brain spinning.  I was full of information, new ideas, clarifying my goals for 2020, updating how I did my health coaching marketing, new friends and excitement for what was to come.

My FWTFL Coach friends. I am in the middle.

I did what they said most of the coaches would do with the notes they took – leave them in the notebook and forget about them.  The problem is I did leave them in the notebook, but the plans and ideas where swimming around in my head.

There was so much information I did not know where to start.  So, like everything in my daily life I started with God.

There are many plans in a person’s mind, but it is the counsel of the Lord which will stand. Proverbs 19:21.

My devotionals this past week have been tied to what I have been coaching, just as when I was writing the Red Dirt Road series, God was showing up. Charles Stanley said it best, “He will show up and show you what you need to do if you ask.”

Matthew 7:7-11 God wants you to ask, seek and knock so that He can give, reveal, open and provide what’s good for you. It is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure. Phil. 2:13

So, when I am overwhelmed and not knowing what to do, I go to the best handbook I know, the Bible.

The word shows me what I know I need to do.  I need to continue to be giving, disciplined, and obey His will and purpose for my life. I need to not be idle or lazy.  I need to be slow to anger, kind, and continue to learn, so I can mature into the person He needs me to be.

I have my block calendar made for the rest of the year.  I have my plan in place to start my FASter Way To Fat Loss round for this upcoming year and I am slowly going through that notebook of ideas and valuable information.

My big goals for this year, is to publish my books.  I said books.  That scares me, because I haven’t published the first one yet.

My mind is full of ideas, plans and the love of God to help women and men become the healthiest and best version of who they are meant to be in this diet overloaded, fast paced beautiful world.

There are so many “diet” and plans to lose weight it can become overwhelming with what to do.  Just remember, if it grows in the ground or has a mama you can eat it and know your calories needed for the day. This is what we do with the FASTer Way

Even as a FWTFL coach I can get caught up in the business of my daily life and forget (choose not to) to eat healthy.  That is normal for people, we grab something quick.  Sticking to what I know works, intermittent fasting, getting 30 minutes of movement, and doing the best I can each day with my nutrition keeps my mindset positive and my energy up.

I need to remember to slow down and start where I know I will receive great counsel, my own daily relationship with my Father.

The FASTer Way showed me an important part of this daily journey, the mindfulness of each day.  Progressing in my health and wellness journey, not focusing on perfection.  With bold action, integrity, generosity and excellence I will continue into the next year with my purpose and His will.
