Water, How Much Is Enough?

Did you know that your body knows when it needs water?  It’s just like breathing, you don’t have to think about drinking water.  You become thirsty; you drink.

There are several health benefits of drinking water, as shown below.

As a FASTer Way health coach, we not only focus on the health benefits but, on the evidence-based facts of water may help with weight loss, increasing your metabolism and it helps us when we are practicing intermittent fasting.

With weight loss, if you drink about 17 ounces of water 30 minutes before you eat you tend to eat less, hence the less calories.

With increasing your metabolism, drinking 68 ounces of water a day increases your energy expenditure by 96 calories.  Your body must heat cold water to your body temperature, so more calorie burn. Cool fact!

With intermittent fasting, water, black coffee, and unsweetened teas help us to complete our 16/8 fasting-feed window.

Listen to your body and take a look at the entire article: How Much Water Should You Drink Per Day, from Healthline, by Kris Gunnars, is a great article to learn more.
